Here you can find some of my favorite collaborations and the programs created together with these wonderful artists and musicians.
Duo AUSMA (classical guitar/mezzo-soprano)
Duo AUSMA was established in 2018 at Hanns Eisler Music Academy, where Vizma Zvaigzne (mezzo-soprano) and Theduardo Prasetyo (guitar) met during a chamber music course. They first performed the song cycle “Cinco canciones negras” by Xavier Montsalvatge (arranged by Theduardo Prasetyo), enjoyed working together a lot and are performing as a regular duo. Their mentor was Prof. Eugenia Kanthou (Hanns Eisler Music Academy). 2019-2021 Vizma and Theduardo were YEHUDI MENUHIN Live Music Now Berlin e.V scholarship holders.
In their repertoire is the the song cycle by M. de Falla “Siete canciones populares españolas”, “Cinco canciones negras” by Xavier Montsalvatge, “Canciones españolas antiguas” by F. Garcia Lorca, “Fünf Spanische Lieder” by E. Granados, various songs by F. Schubert, J. Brahms etc. The latest program the duo has been working on is called “LUX” and consists of renaissance art songs from England, Germany and Spain, as well as Spanish-Cuban art songs.
Duo Zvaigzne/Eckhaut (mezzo-soprano/piano)
Vizma Zvaigzne and Justine Eckhaut are closely working together as a Liedduo since 2020 and in 2021 the are presenting their first recital Chant d’amour et de mort in Latvia, and later this year and in the next season will perform it also in Germany.
In September 2021 they will also take part in the HIDALGO Festival in Munich, Germany in their Young Artist Section Street Art Song playing several mini concerts throughout the Munich.
